Thanksgiving Cards

or Whatever happened to the Fall Confetti?

The big news is my eCraft is back and it actually works! It still shreds thin papers so I need to get a veggie cutting mat for it, but it makes good clean cuts in cardstock like never before. These cards are shape #20 at 10.5, with leaves at 3, 3.5, and 4. The windows are shape #19 at 3. I then used my Martha Stewart punch anywhere punch to make the window in the window paper, and the Fun Foam. I ran the fun foam though my sticker maker on both sides. For the window that is holding in the confetti I cut up a sheet protectors. and Ta da!

October Birthday Cards

I was running short on time this month so I made these three cards in under 20 mins with the supplies I had out on my crafting table. The “Celebrate You” has double dimension stickers giving it a bit of height over the others. The “Happy Birthday Wishes” Card was made from a star I was using for practice with my blending pen on over the weekend. These were made with my 2 stamp sets from Stamping up, some paper scraps I had around, and that pack of yellow cards I got on clearance.

Fall Confetti

I’ve been having fun making fall confetti for a future project I have in mind. I’m making this using shrinky dink, a leaf punch, and a hole punch. I misplaced my camera’s memory card so these are all cell phone photos. Please comment if you need clarification on any of the images.

Tiny leaves and circles next to a Dime

Not bad for a cell phone picture!

Step 1) Draw a Camo pattern with some waterproof markers. I’m using Zig Memory System Writers.

Step 2) Cut out shapes as close together as possible.

Wear gloves! The ink comes off before it's cooked.

Step 3) SHRINK!

Wedding Cards!

I have a few weddings coming up in the next 2 weeks so I decided to try my hand at ribbon flowers. Here are the finished cards with custom Shrinky dink embellishments.

Envelope Scrapbook Album

Hello!

I recently discovered the awesomeness that is Envelope Albums! Just toss some photos and a scrapbook page into a decorated envelope. Quick and Easy.

This is an 8in by 8in album that holds 6in by 6in pages. I made it using 12×12 paper. I used the Bella Boutique stack from DCWV.

September Birthday cards!

There are a lot of birthdays at my work this month and in the trend of being thrifty I made these cards. They are all on a package of yellow cards I got out of the clearance bin at the craft store.

I used 3 pieces of 6.5 by 4.5 paper, a circle punch, my 2 sets of Stamping Up stamps, and 2 gift tags we made in Stamping Up Class.

Some Fun Tutorials

Hello!

I know I’ve been missing since I got back from my trip. I sadly have not had a chance to go in my craft room. I am taking a few online classes on crochet from Craftsy.com which are AMAZING! but i’m still on rectangles so nothing interesting to post. So I though I would give you some fun tutorials from other blogs to hold you over until I can post some fun new things. Click on the Photos to go to the tutorials!

Custom notes

Think of the possibilities!

Custom Stationary by Design*Sponge. I know Maps are really “IN” right now but I’m not a big maps as decoration person. I look at this and see the potential for scrapbook paper scraps. I could make stationary with my favorite scrapbook paper, or wrapping paper, or I could make pager out of paper scraps for a quilt-like look.
